(life is like a camera) Focus on what is important and capture good times. Develop from the negatives and if things don’t work out, take another shot.
I ran across this quote on Instagram of all places, and it got me thinking. What I am focusing on is important, it’s where I am putting my energy. Like the picture above sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get something right. Perhaps life isn’t in focus. Or maybe it is distracted, maybe even there is something stealing the focus. Whatever it might be we need to remember where our focus should be. Only then will the picture turn out.
The closing song in chapel was a hymn that resonated with me. It tied everything together. May this be our prayer as we focus on life.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
live Your life,
